smoking while driving

I know there are many drivers out there that smoke as I did,loosing your lit cig out of your hand on your seat between your legs or worse droping onto the carpet flooring inside your cab and trying to stomp it out with your foot or pour your drink on it to extinquish it I tried many different things to avoid this chewing on celery,chewing gum,had a fake cig to replace a real one but that did,nt help since being of the road they now have E-cigs I use to help me quit which was not available when I was out there and cheaper to 1 cartridge has the nicotene of 1 pack of real cigs

I tried this electric cig too.  It wasn't a good fit for me.  What I tried when I had the urge or need to smoke was that I will just have to pull over and stop.  Then I would ask myself, do i really want to loose driving time.  My answer was usually no.  Well after beating myself up mentally for a week (yes it was hard) it got alot easier and I started feeling alot better and found I had more energy.  I haven't quit 100% but I'm very close to it.
