Just as an FYI for everyone here, I just tried to reserve a room for my husband at Super 8 motel. Was told that the room was going to be $56.99 for a single king bed non smoking... I then asked if they offered a discount for CDL holders and was informed that since he holds a CDL there is no discount, and the price would actually be higher... So why is it that truckers cannot seem to unite together? Every driver seems to wonder that. I was recently in Denver, CO at the TA and listened intently to the CB debate going on that night. it all made me wonder "why can't we?". Lets think of some reasons here. Politics? Racial Prejudice?
