You might be slightly misled. There is a process with which you can get in touch with the usdot and fight any unfair citations and state your case. One must understand that whatever one does in public is a matter of public record and therefore has to remain accessable to the public. As far as D.A.C. is concerned, they have been sued for providing information to companies without concent of the prospective drivers knowledge. It was a class action suit that made an extremely small amount of money in the amount of $11.00 plus for each person this was done to. There were a total of in excess of 300,000 drivers that they did this to. But none the less again whatever one does in public is a matter of public record and therefore is available to the public.
