Trucker robbed of $3,000 at Ohio rest area warns others to be alert!

In less than 30 seconds, one Florida truck driver says he was "robbed" of his cash while stopped at a north bound rest area near Cincinnati, Ohio on Interstate I 75 around mile marker 27.

The Florida trucker is warning others to “stay on their toes” when out on the road.

He said he found out later that as many as seven guys “were all working together” to rob him of nearly $3,000 as he was walking out of the northbound rest area on Interstate 75 at mile marker 27.41 near Cincinnati on Wednesday, July 18.

Comment by dan bestfelt on August 3, 2012 at 9:03am: Thats about one of my post I addedwhat arethe worst states to drive in while on the road.My answer was OHIO,not only the worst 4 wheelers on the road but the rest areas were very dangerous for that reason.I used to be out there on the road and a driver from ohio and I know ecxactly what rest area you are refurring to.I have written the governor of the state of ohio asking him to put more security in these rest areas.Not only big trucks are robbed but therehave been a # of car jackings also.
