New Years Safety Message!

Hi Everyone!

Our company posts a road safety message on a news site and on Facebook every Friday, I thought some of you may like to see one of them, so here's this weeks! Let me know if you like it!

Safety First Professional Driver Training’s Friday Safety Message!

Resolutions
Do you have any New Year’s Resolutions? If you are like a large percentage of the population (I have been too many times) you’ll make a really big resolution that’s too hard to realistically keep (as I said....GUILTY!!) How about keeping a really easy one? How about committing to drive safer?

I say this after watching a year of terrible fatal accidents in the Peace Region. By my estimate, there were at least 20 road fatalities in our area this year. How many people are directly affected by someone’s death (friends, family etc) 50? 70? More? 20 fatalities multiplied by the lowest estimate is 1000 people in our community that were grieving this year, and probably didn’t need to be.

Our current student had his class 1 road test today, and in the hour and a half of practice before his test, we had 5 people take really stupid chances with our vehicle, and more than that with others (2 people trying to pass us on the left on a single lane road as we were trying to turn left!) It doesn’t have to be like this folks, the second you save by taking a chance could be the last second of your life!
Please think about making this your resolution everyone. Someone cares about each and every one of us!

Comment by dan bestfelt on June 30, 2012 at 8:53am: In my 32 yrs. of driving OTR,SAFETY was always my first choice.Over 5million miles of safe driving and DAMM proud of it.I have my reward certificates from the state of OHIO for 1mil,2mil,3mil,4mil and my final one of 5mil hanging on my computor room wall.
