Driving on-call emergency blood supplies to hospitals is a challenge since we are aware that somebody may be on-hold on an operating table with their life on-hold...we cover all hospitals from Windsor to Toronto area and up to Barrie and Orillia and back over to Owen Sound, Goderich and Sarnia areas and back home to London,Ontario.  Our Dodge Van usually handles the job with up to about 40 boxes of blood which is time-sensitive as well as temperature sensitive and is very fuel efficient and dependable. The GPS helps us as well as the CB with possible road blockages so we can get our urgent supplies through alternate routes if necessary...of course we all know the GPS does tell lies sometimes so we have every map going, on board.LOL... Our 2500 Heavy Chevy truck carries loads very handily up to about 3000Lbs and our  16ft trailer(Dual Axle) can handle around 6000Lbs so we handle roofing supples, steel, concrete and heavy packages for many variable industries throughout Southwestern Ontario and have some runs from Windsor to Ottawa and Montreal which we cover overnite. We save many shippers asses by knowing the roads in every city and town and the size of our units gets in and out of places like Downtown Toronto in rush hours right up to North York through having maneuverable units which are relatively easy to Park N Go quickly.  Lawyers like our timely court deliveries with time-sensitive bids etc. and reporting back to them upon arrival with times and signatures.
