Gettin old??

It amazes me!! Ive been in and around the trucking industry for most of my life, (over 30 yrs), and I dont know how the drivers of old (myself included) ever got anywhere or communicated with anyone before GPS and Cell phones. We had to wait in lines for payphones and to look up our destinations on maps. There were no Qualcoms , laptops or paperless logs. How did we do it for so long????? I really miss the old days of driving and the old Mom and Pop truck stops, Drinking coffee in the drivers only section. Guess Im just getting old, but still learning how to do this job right...lol

Then James you probably remember the old 9 chanell CBS as well.Were you had to have a CB ID # and not a CB handle.Were they could monitor you and your conversations you were having and know who you were and who you were having the conversation with as well.Oh the good old days.I,m with you 100% on this one were would tthese new drivers be if they had to go thru all this s55t.I think few and far between.
