The best part of the week....Ah Friday. Highway Courier loaded at Toronto's Concord at 5:30am and headed back to base in London. Only 6400 Lbs on this load (limit). Got sent over to Strathroy to pick up and then to deliver at Hensall,Ont. From there heading cross-country to Barrie to pick up, and down the 400 Hwy to Toronto again. The 400 and the 407 & 401 were all full of Friday traffic but weather was good and traffic moved well all the way back to London Base. A 16 hour day for a Friday was quite enough for this 74 year old driver. Staying in good physical condition & eating properly sure does pay. Got paid each way to and from Toronto helps.
