Thx for the info Edward and no I was not aware of those things. But then, in my defense, I only drive them and as long as they get me where I need to go, that's pretty much all my brain can handle lol

I really like, or liked, Volvo's for that reason too, superior ride. However, the company I drive for is currently taking delivery of new Volvo's that supposedlyhave springs on the steer axle. I'm supposed to be moving into one in a few weeks so I don't know first hand. However, I cannot imagine they can replace an air bag with a spring and maintain the superiority of the ride! ;)
