Sharing the roads with trucker friends all over Southern Ontario every day...hoping our health holds up well as the day approaches when our license could be pulled for failing our annual health check. Still driving at 75 and enjoying  good health and good experiences and good friends. The CB chatter this week included concerns from senior drivers like me, who enjoy the challenges of driving. Did you know the GPS does tell lies at times...LOL. Keep all your maps handy.

The Ontario Government is trying to reduce the deficit, so the Ministry Of Transportation (MTO) and the Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) are issueing fines like never before...the MTO are building larger inspection stations with more technology to weigh every wheel and fine every wheel and infraction. The mobile units are pulling drivers over, everywhere. The OPP are on the bridges with lasers and every kind of unmarked ghost units as well as motorcycles are being placed in service. The cost of licenceing is doubling. Make sure your load is legal and loaded properly as now they will be fining lifttruck drivers who knowingly overload your units.
