For myself, I think this is too much. It can be dangerous sometimes but not all the times like they try to show us on tv!

Pull most of those guys out of the bush and stick them in the lower 48 on a freeway in the city during a good storm and watch them fold like a cheap suite. I worked up there for Carlile driving from Anch. to Tacoma line haul. I'm back in CO now. Real mountains and real crazy driving conditions.

Hugh Roland needs to be taken off the show he is most certainly not a good example for the trucking industry and this is a mild opinion of what I really want to speak.

 I agree to the fact that Hugh Roland and his buddy Rick Yem both need to go, the way they beat the crap out of whatever truck they are driving does not constitute the professionalism of someone who has driven for 20 plus years.

I want to be a tv star . Hugh would never make it in West Memphis (good white good green ) ARK .I think the show has to be that way for the rateing . They need to put me on the show i can roll 80mph and still pour coffee ,send a text,hold my map all at the same time with no shoes on !! LOL now thats dangerous

I ran those ice roads back in the early 80' and I can tell you the show is bunk. oh By the way the reason they are no longer running the ice roads in the Territories is they were kicked out.

Fully agree! Shows like this can be "interesting" but they certainly portray us as a bunch of idiots, and he does the best job of it!

i have been out of the trucking industry for 15 yrs and am just now getting ready to get back into the industry and i agree Hugh give off a very negative image of what we really do
